How often is being late acceptable? I have been late 1 time in 10 years.. Just wondering what's acceptable in y'all's opinion.. I was thinking 2-3 times per year??

We do not get too uptight about it. Ten minutes early to ten minutes late is no big deal. {No time clock}

It drives me crazy to be late for anything. Now there are some legit reasons such as wrecks causing road closers and such but still should leave early enough to cover for most minor inconviences.

Depends how big of a strain does it put on your coworkers?
Sometimes is a big deal sometimes not. As long as it's not a habit no biggie.

My thoughts are if you are on time you are late. I know not everyone thinks like that but just how I am. To answer your question I would say a couple times a year.

And even if the excuse is valid you shouldn't be late more than 2 times per year. Leave earlier the further you are from your job.
