Having the same issues again and don't understand. The packages are accurately and correctly labeled on where they should go, but they're being sent to the wrong post office about an hour away.

    Haven't figured this out.

Other than hemorrhaging money they are pretty good. Their online tracking sucks, but otherwise no issues. Same with UPS and FEDEX.

Yup, had my repaired costas shipped back last week with delivery date Friday. I went and checked Monday and not there. Checked the tracking today and left Florida last week but no other updates since.

I actually had a GOOD experience with the USPS on a claim recently. Bought a QAD rest from a fellow lefty on the Facebook Lefthanded Archery group. His GF shipped it for him in just a flat Priority Mail envelope and it got ripped out of the envelope. Stopped up a letter machine somewhere between Wisconson and Texas I bet. Any how I filed a claim with USPS and had my Refund check with in a week! I was ready for a couple of months of waiting to get my $$ back and was totally pleased on their part for the fast action.

Last two shipments done priority 2 day express... first one, took 8 days and to get it, I had to go to the Tomball Post office and pick it up... Currently have another package coming from Arizona again, 2 day express... It was supposed to be delivered on Monday according to their own web site tracing service... still waiting... Just like HRC said, " WHAT DIFFERENCE, at this point DOES IT MATTER?

When I went to the Post Office on the first shipment, I told them I paid for 2 day service... I was told that they "try to deliver in 2 days, but they don't guarantee it!!!!" Can you believe that?!!

You can bet your butt if I did the same thing when sending them a tax check, I wouldn't get away with that answer... I just despise the bureaucracy That is our gubment!

USPS = An organization that has lost Billions of dollars per year for several years. Why would anyone expect anything but lousy service out of an organization run like that. I only use them if I HAVE TO. I'd prefer to spend more $$ and use FedX or UPS or anyone but the USPS.

Just walk into any post office. Be observant while you wait and wait and wait. Just the vibe and speed of the service will tell you that even charging more won't fix that cluster you know what of an operation.

A few years back I was calling post offices that would schedule appointments for passports. Some do, some don't. It took many hours of research but I found out which ones did. Then I started calling. A few I finally got an answer but SEVERAL I called for literally every day for a week and a few times I'd let the phone ring for up to an hour. I had the means to do so I did. I never did get anyone to answer at 4 different post offices. I actually called one post office that was always prompt answering phone to make sure I had the correct phone numbers for those 4 and I did.

From what two different postal employees have told me, who work at two different post offices, it isn't pretty what goes on regarding employees who absolutely do not care. Insubordination is common especially at one. Deliberately tossing packages with delicate contents. Being rude and hateful to homeowners where packages are delivered and tossing the oackages like they are garbage and repeatedly asked to please not treat them that way.
