We shall see how it goes and I have wifi at the hotel, so posting pics shouldn't be a problem...although I may need someone to flip them upright or some to explain to me how to do it. I'll be giving a fairly detailed report when it's all said and done.

That is a good price ....are there are some good numbers of quality Axis bucks out there ? I saw some pictures on here from Diamond C , several nice Blackbucks out there . Good Luck to you , I hope you get a nice trophy or 2 .

Supposed to be over run with axis and BB. I've seen several pics of good animals people have harvested. A lot with a gun, but I'm only taking my bow. Well that and my .45 in my hip pocket...
I just started bow hunting last year, so I'm relatively new to it but I am totally consumed with it. I guess it's a new challenge and I enjoy the toughness of getting close to an animal to have to harvest it. I appreciate the luck, it may be a long 3 day sit for me. Most have been using the smoke poles and been quite successful. We shall see.

Well, it's hard to post while in a tripod. Climbed into tripod at 5:30. Been covered up with WT does, yearlings and on buck who has about 5 inches of growth of horns. I've seen 2 axis does and one axis buck that was 33". Pretty neat to hear them call and watch them work over a tree 30 yds away.

Still in tripod now. If the 33 make another appearance, he might just feel a rage in the pump station hopefully. Probably gonna hunt another hour to 90 minutes.

5 WT does, a turkey and 2 squirrels are feeding now. God's wonderful world of nature is amazing. Been an awesome morning and 1st sit.

oh man! this hunt is already exciting! good luck brother! put one on the ground so us "working" folks have something to look at all day!

You said you started bowhunting recently, just out of sheer curiosity, what range are you comfortable at taking the shot?
