Chainsaw idling on the ground works good too

We always take a leaf rake (metal ot plastic) and lay it at an angle to the ground with the teeth of rake in the dirt....then pick up a stick and drag stick across rake with pressure creating a vibration and noise that'll have them suckers topping the ground in no time. Been doing it my whole life and it works.

I always mixed a little paint and water and dumped that on the mounds. They come out pretty quick after that.

This is cool. I can't believe I've never heard of this before, but I'm gonna give it a whirl.

Funny, I was wondering about this myself. I was mixing some quikrete for some catfish jug weights and when I was cleaning out the bucket I noticed worms just coming to the top of the yard where I was throwing the water. This was before the ground was really bad so I wondered if it was the water, or maybe something in the concrete mix that was driving them up.

Get a dozen black walnuts in the outer hull and crush them in a bucket of water--pour on ground and watch 'em come up. (Old Missouri hillbilly trick I grew up with).
