I liked Royal Thai, but have any of you tried Bangkok Thai on the corner of SMU Blvd and Greenville? Personally, I like it even more.

It is nothing like Chinese. Thai, Viet, & Laos. these trio are basically similar how it's prepared. Below pictures are my favs to chow down on when going out for the kind of recipes you ask, but of course to me it's has to be the authentic one for the menu.
1st pic: Chicken, whole red snappers, sliced briskets, Oyster, Shirmps, some other meat (depending on my taste buds when I go to chow down).
2nd pic: If you like PHO SOUP, you'll like these recipe. Beef, Tendons, Viet meat balls, tripes. I like Chines food but, I will have to pick these Trio's menus over CF.

Red curry w duck is a good bet too. Also have not seen tom kha cocunut soup on this list, creamy soup, soak some rice in there and it's darn tasty. Good fro colds and flu too.

Thai food is my favorite and the hotter the better. I like Tom Yum and Green Curry with chicken. The normal scale goes from 1-5, but you can ordered it hotter. I ordered Tom Yum at a 7 and the chef came out to make sure I could handle it. I did, but had tears rolling down my face. It was awesome!!
