You tube beats the heck out of going to the library and getting a Chilton book! Now that's old school right there, I bet a lot of TBHrs don't even know what a Chilton book is.

Yes sir, it is indeed old school. I have a small library of Chilton, Haynes and even a first edition copy of the "How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive: A Manual of Step-By-Step Procedures for the Compleat Idiot". I also sometimes buy the factory service manuals for old vehicles I own; my Bronco is a 4 book set, plus a supplement book of electrical schematics. Gotta love the 70's.

The do it yourself surgeries and jiggle joint videos are the bestest.

I've used the YouTube quite a few times myself for all kinds of DIY videos. Mrs sometimes gets pretty bent out of shape with greasy smudge fingerprints on her iPad though.

funny thing was, this guy was/is a pilot, i asked him if i looked up on youtube how to fly a plane would he let me fly one, he said no. i was like come on man it is the same thing, lol

i have used youtube to do the same as you before, just have to know when your over your head and need a pro
