The father of my wife's kids is $30,000+ behind. She gets $32 a week from him on a $1200/mo court order. AG office does absolutely nothing. I don't see that changing any time soon. Good thing that I really don't care, but she gets fired up about it.

My son married a woman with 3 kids. He raised them like they were his own. The ex was supposed to pay $300 a month in child support. Her ex paid around $500 total during the the ten yrs he was married to this woman. My son paid for the kids medical, braces, etc. Everytime they filed on the father he would sent $50 or so and the state would say he was making an attempt to pay and would not pursue it farther.

They had a child together and later divorced. He pays $1000 a month for ONE child. The cops had shown up at his WORK 3 TIMES saying he is behind on child support. He tells them how in the Hell can I be behind? She gets paid before I do.

Biggest bunch of BS I have ever seen.

At one point they were coming after me for unpaid C/S. All sorts of nasty threats in their letter so I made an appointment to go down. Had to take half a day off. They looked at my file and saw I had never been late. "Oh well, that letter shouldn't have gone out".

Another time I went in with the ex to agree to pay more C/S. I was going to have to pay the max so might as well. They made kind of a big deal out of it with all the people they brought in to witness, notarize, etc. About a month later, they served me for the same. I called to ask WTH is going on. They had decided that they didn't want it going to the judge as an "agreed" order but it would go in as a "non-agreed". ***? I was going to pay the max anyway. Then I found out it was for their stats. - Another deadbeat dad brought to justice. SMH

I have 50% custody of my kids. I pay the 25% + medical insurance. my 25% covers my ex's mortgage, car payment, and insurance....literally.

I don't get how when you have 50% custody you're supposed to provide a house, food, etc for them at your home, AND at hers.

it is a joke, but I've gotten used to it. been having it directly withdrawn from my pay for 4+ years. 7 yrs 8 months to go until I get that money back. all said and done, I will have paid her 137,000$... that's if it doesn't go up.

when they turn 18, i'll use the money I'm currently paying her in CS to pay for their college.
