It is strange that with my calm post you would assume I was offended. Those that know me can assure you I was not offended. The other thread just reminded me of all the bull**** that these kids were put thru by the "cool kids" so I stated my thoughts on the subject. If that offends you then you need to look at your self and not worry about what offends me or not. Have a great day and move along....

And for the record I was one of the jock idiots that got away with everything in school now I wish I had taken a typing class and put in half the effort my kids did in school.

Although I kinda hate to make light of this... Whatever got this father and son to this point is sad...
No need to be sad. These guys have a whole string of fake staged "interventions".

Sorry but the whole D&D crew is not for me. You can call them nerds of whatever I just call them weird. The whole fantasy game thing mainly attracted weird people.

It was really funny, because yesterday night, I am watching baseball, and my 11 year old step son comes up to me and says, "Seth, who do you think would win in a fight between Captain America and Batman?". I couldn't help but laugh. He then went on for about 5 minutes with some serious logic as to why batman would win. This kid has never sniffed a B in school, and didn't miss a question on 2 of the STAR tests. He's a pretty smart kid, and would I think call himself a nerd. He also plays football, and bowls competitively. I hope he grows up to talk about comics and movies if those things entertain him while he's designing the next generation of space vehicles lol.

I have no idea why that bothers you so much, but you've picked the wrong forum if you have a problem with folks who spent most of their childhood outdoors.
