I did the tack strips and they did not work, then I put the 1x1 cage on the feeders, this stopped the coons on the corn feeders. They still hit the protein so for that I tack stripped the top of the feeder and raised the spout to 40 inches off the ground, this prevented 90% of the attacks. Then I went to work trapping. Good luck

1. It is illegal to poison coons, they're classified as furbearers and have their own set of rules from tpwd. When causing depredation/damage they can be removed by legal means.
2. No worries about catching bobcat in dp traps.
3. Plug feed tubes then bait dp with protein, when catch falls off switch baits a time or two to make sure they haven't wised up to what your doing.
4. Just so you're aware, any females you take out is likely to have young that will starve without momma..

Get GM at Tractor Supply. It controls FLIES!!
It comes in small 1-lb. cans and in larger 5-lb. cans. Mix a small handful of this "fly" bait with a can or two of your favorite soda pop, such as Coke or Pepsi or Mt. Dew. Put it in a pan in the general approach path the "FLIES" are using. Come back tomorrow and prepare to scoop up dead FLIES.
Warning: Afterwards, mind your own business!!
