George T. Stagg 2024 is an incredible find! I’ve had some interesting experiences with different drinks myself. Recently, I tried Hennessy at a friend’s gathering, and it was a pleasant surprise. The smoothness and unique flavor made it stand out from other options. We enjoyed it straight, and it quickly became a favorite among the group. If you’re into trying different things, Hennessy might be a fun option to explore. As for the 6.5 PRC, hope you find a good match for your needs!

I’ll never be able to drink this all by myself.

Have you had the Old Rip or the Lot B before? Which do you prefer? I've had both (never a bottle of either, just a pour) and I think I prefer the Old Rip 10.

                I think the 10 is just great….

I’ve tried all of them, in order of preference

                20

                15
                23
                10

                12

weird thing is …. I really like Weller 12, which is allegedly either a lot b that didn’t make grade
or something really close to it

side by side testing - the Weller 12 is just better

Just toured the Uncle Nearest Distillery in Shelbyville, Tennessee last week. The wife loved the story behind the brand so we went and visited. We don't drink bourbons/whiskey but we learned alot about the process and differences. Beautiful place for sure!

I find them around here, just can't justify 3-4X msrp

Local shop did have a lot of Buffalo Trace and Weller SR. Like 5-10 cases making up the displays. They also had EH Taylor SB that I over paid for $110 but it is one of my favorites. Still on the hunt for a replacement bottle of 107.

What prices did they have? Have seen them but like Brian said at 3-4 times MSRP so I leave them there.

Way over 3-4xMSRP. $220, $400 and $180. To much for me, but I do know the person who got them.

Anybody had a chance to try the new Bardstown Discovery Series #12 yet? There's quite a few reviews popping up on it. Some stating that it is the best Bardstown has ever produced and will be in the running for whiskey of the year.
