i bought 3 bottles of Old Forester King Ranch and finally opened one up last night. I'll just say I cant believe the even left that stuff off they lot. Literally Jim Beam quality. Everything from nose to finish was disappointing. And at $65 per bottle, crazily over priced.

I thought the OFKR was fine. It's a little hot, and would be better at $39. But if it's a one time release, glad I snagged one.

That's the same feedback I was nervous about. Had the 1910 or 1920? 1920 is up there with my favorites, and is my favorite at the price point.

the prohibition (1920) is one of my favorite everyday drinkers. IMO the KR doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence.

I’ve tried several of the old forrester’s, including the prohibition, and none of them agreed with my taste buds. I’m passing on the KR if I see it.

No help on finding a barrel but I would love to buy a jar when that honey is ready! Sounds like it’d be pretty good

I didn’t care for the KR. The aroma was nice, but the flavor was less rewarding than I had anticipated. Have seen them at retail prices around Montgomery.
