Going to be looking for a new dangled bed pretty quick here. You guys that have one of these two brands, give me your feedback. Are there other options that will help me get a better night sleep?

Funny this thread comes up. My wife and I just bought the TP Contour Rhapsody Breeze this afternoon. It delivers tomorrow. Getting rid of the Simmons Beauty Rest. TP has a set price on their mattresses, found the same price in 2 stores after we asked if they could work with us. There is a $300 give back towards other merchandise at Star Furniture and Mattress Firm. Got the Tempur Cool pillows to go with the new bed. Good Luck and ejoy, can't wait for ours to get here.

My wife and I have had our sleep number for going on 5 years now and we hate it. We liked it at first (probably the first 6 months) and then we just couldn't get comfy on it. The only reason we haven't gotten anything different is bc I refuse to spend that much money just to throw it away lol. Call me stubborn. But if we were to buy a new one it would be a temperpedic.

Mattress are like new girlfriends....... They're new and awesome to sleep on the first month, then you start having regrets. My wife and I spent $10K in mattresses the first 7 years of marriage. The last one was/is a TP and its been great, but I still want better. They give you a 30-90 day return (most stores), but there's some small lettering in there so caveat emptor.
My view is you spend more time on/in your bed than you do in your vehicle and couches combined, so why skimp on a cheap mattress.

Which one is a matter of opinion. We have tempurpedic. I love it. Two pieces of advice that are a fact. Get the waterproof mattress cover. This thing has kept our bed looking new. Water, wine, puke. They are awesome. Second. A chiropractor wrote my a letter/prescription for the bed. Saved us two hundred bucks in taxes.

My wife works for Tempur-Sealy and has been in the industry for a little less than a decade. Trust me when I say Tempurpedic over Sleep #.
All of our beds, including the one I'm on now, are tempur. You won't regret it. And go with the adjustable.Last edited by HoustonHunter; 04-25-2015, 10:44 PM.

We got the sleep number, probably about 5 years ago. She likes it OK. Me, not so much. I wish I had read some of the reviews first. For the life of me, I can't figure out what my "sleep number" is so I can get a comfortable night's sleep. It seems that no matter what I have it set at, I wake up with a backache. Nine times out of ten I end up sleeping in my recliner for most of the night. Some folks love theirs. Not me!

She needs to hook us up with a TBH special.
