Costa Repair

I rarely read bad ones about Costa myself. And most of those, are folks bitching about Costa not covering their screw ups like broken lenses. They have been nothing but good to me on several pair....of course, I also don't expect a company to pay from my screw ups either and am more than willing to pay a little versus full retail price when it's my fault.

Just an update
Sent in a pair on 4-28-15 with a cracked lens, and they were scheduled to arrive at their repair shop on 4-30-15.
I received an email today that the frame I have was discontinued to please call. I called and they offered me a free (minus shipping) replacement of any one of their sunglasses with nylon lenses. Total came out to $12.95 after taxes, and they said they'll be shipped out within 7-10 days. Looking at a total turn around time of 3 weeks max from the time I sent them out to the time they'll be at my front door.
If I calculate the shipping both ways I'm in for less than $25 total for a brand new pair of Costa sunglasses, with what I consider a reasonable turn around time. I would have to say my experience has been A+ with Costa

I had a pair with the plastic lenses, after 6 months couldn't stand to wear them the lenses were so scratched and distorted. They wanted me to pay to send them in so i threw them in the trash and bought a pair of wiley-x. Had multiple pairs of them that I had for 3-4 years and never needed to send them in for repair.

Its been 15 since I sent in my glasses so I called to get an update. Last communication was me approving a $25 charge for new frames. Today they told me that they cracked my lens in repair so now I am getting a new set of lenses too.
So I'll continue to wait patiently for my new glasses that will end up costing me about $47 when all said and done.

I just sent a pair in a few weeks back that my daughter grabbed off my face in the pool as we were playing. Snapped the frames in half lol. Sent them in and put what actually happened in the description on the warranty form just to see how they handled it. They are awesome period!!! Paid $12 and they sent back a brand new pair. I was already a customer for life with these guys prior to this and will remain one. Hands down best service I've ever seen.
