    Costa Repair

I need to send in my Costa Del Mar sunglasses for repair/warranty work. They used to fit really well to my face, but now they are sliding off. They had stretched out quite a bit. Also the nose guard is heavily worn.

Anyone have any experience with their warranty department? I am nervous about it taking a long time if I send them off.

Also, any ideas on what they may charge for this?

I have sent 4 different pairs off and have got them all back within a week. I think I paid 15 dollars

Did you have the same problem (stretched frames)? Wondering how they are going to fix them. They are 6 years old, so plenty of wear on them.

          .

Got to the website fill out the repair form and I think you give them a credit card on file. Send them in with the repair form. They will contact you before making any repairs. But warranty work is under $12. Prob take couple weeks from the time you send them to get them back.
Thats should be just warranty repair. I have sent several pairs in for the rubber coming off around the nose piece. Generally get a new pair. Do they still make the style you have?

That is true on mine as well. I think the main reason you wouldn't get new ones is if you broke them. My friend broke his lenses and had to pay something like 50$ for new ones

My Corbinas were stretched from my big ol head and just like yours the nose piece was worn. Payed $15 and sent them in, About 1-2 weeks later I got them back in perfect condition.

These are the first good reviews I have ever heard about Costa warranty work. Seems like most reviews I've read are negative.

www.steepandcheap.com has a whole list of Costa's on sale right now by the way

I sent the same pair in twice because they stretched out. They sent me a new pair back. In my experience if it's frame warranty it's usually just the price of shipping. If you break lenses on the other hand you have to pay the lense cost.

I sent a pair in and they came back a completely new frame. I didn't have frame damage just the rubber pieces were falling off.

I've never had an issue with costa, pretty quick turn around an usually a new pair. One time I didn't get a new pair was for a nose pad replacement.

The three different times I broke frames in the last 7 years, I had to pay for a new frame. I figured even that was cheaper than a retail price replacement.

For stretched frames I just get 2 tiny O rings and slide one up each side into the hinge problem solved
