Are MURSES acceptable?

Good to go. I carry something similar quite often.
Think about it. I have an expensive camera, tablet, pistol, phone and no telling what else I take to work with me everyday. Do I like leaving all that in my truck to entice thieves to break in my truck and steal from me? No, I throw my man purse over shoulder and carry on proudly.

Believe I would just leave in the floor board, throw a old jacket over it, then go in the store.
But hey, that's just me.
Glad I don't have all that "stuff" to take to work, but if I did, it would be in a back pack and in Mossy Oak or Realtree!!!

What on earth would you put in it on a trip to Home Depot?? On second thought, maybe he had a water bottle, MRE, 30' of paracord, piece of flint and a large hunting knife. It wasn't a murse, it was a survival bag. I too sometimes get lost in that store. I could spend days in there.

Sometimes, when the weather is nice, I like to take my motorcycle to work. I usually sport a leather briefcase, flung over my shoulder. But, I think it would probably be acceptable to use one of those murses while riding a motorcycle. It would just make sense.

I was thinking about this yesterday because I keep my laptop, lunch bag, etc in a backpack and take it to work everyday as well. I watched some other folks walk in and observed what, if anything they used to carry thier stuff. Some were satchels, etc.

I think the big difference between your "work" bag and a "murse" is where you keep you wallet, phone, and gun. If you keep your phone, wallet and gun in your "bag" (especially the wallet) then, I am sorry, you have a purse. Your gun and your wallet should be in a pocket and your gun as well, or on your hip. If you wear a bag around your hip to conceal a gun... again, you are wearing a purse. But for lunches, laptops, cameras, whatever, sure it's a bag.

The only bag of any kind a Marine is authorize to wear is an ALICE pack or related MOLLIE gear. And I ain't never seen them issue man bags.

Hell, a male Marine ain't even authorize to carry/use an umbrella in uniform so what makes u think they gonna allow man bags?

Someone should take some leftover material from making a pair of jeans, and sew a couple pieces on the back....then you could put your wallet and snuff in there. They could even add some to the inside on the front, and you'd even have a place to put your keys and a knife! Oh oh, and they could sew some narrow strips evenly spaced around the top so you could run a belt through there and have a place to hang your pistol, and a bigger knife!
