Ok,
So we know the Gametamer has a huge cheerleading group here on TBH.
I've seen em', helped hang em', and have sat in em'. I believe they are a quality stand.
But....
In my opinion, it all depends on your application.
If your hunting a place in Texas where you know your stand will stay since your over a feeder, I can see a Gametamer as a great choice.
But if your putting up a lock on in which you may have to move during the season or even during a hunt, I'm not sold on the GT.
Mobility and simplicity are important in my opinion. I purchased a Gorilla with a set of Ameri-Steps. In about two minutes I can have 3 step sections in one hand, the Gorilla on my back, and I'm vapor to new tree.
Plus, unlike some here, I prefer to shoot standing up. I practice standing up so I want to "play" standing up. Standing on a GT really ain't that applicable.

Sitting on those little seat pads didn't offer much comfort in my opinion.
Now for mobility, I'd say they are the best offered.

I bought a Gametamer but wasnt thrilled with it. You can hang it on a angled branch like pictured in BRandels post but then you wont be able to get in the stand.
Theres nothing worse then finding the right place to hunt and then ending up 60 yards away cause the trees are not right. I use ladder stands mostly and they are awesome. Easy/quite entry and exit and very forgiving on trees. Just rachet tie them in and your done. You can also fasten branches to the top of the ladder for cover.

Tree lounger and the net seats ones for climbers. I also like my Summit Viper. It is more portable for me. I have sat on those cheaply padded loc-on seats. They are crap. The net seat loc-ons are really nice. Pull your choices out of the box and set down on them for a few minutes. Pretty easy to decide after that.
