Now, I've been hearing alot about these Gametamer stands. Never seen one or hunted from one. My question is, will they work on a straight tree? From the pics, they look pretty good. I like a stand seat that you can swivel around. Last thing I want to to is stand up to take a shot. I try to do all of mine sittin down.

Yes, they are adjustable to fit trunks with different angles.

I've used an ol' man climber for 4-5 yrs. now and I love it. The "net" seat
is the most comfortable in my opinion. Gorilla has a climber with a "net" seat that's similar to it but a little heavier. The only drawback is you practically have to stand in order to shoot. I usually use a lockon when I can plan ahead of time on my hunts. This allows plenty of sitdown/shooting opportunities. I can see why Gametamers is becoming so popular. It breaks open all possibilities when hunting.

The most comfortable stands I have sat in are Old Man and Gametamers. All the others that I have tried hurt my butt after about 2 hours.

If you don't need portability, go with the Gametamers. If you move around a lot get an Old Man.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, just this seat is priced at $69.99. The stands I have are very simiular, but They only cost me $54.00 and they are lock-on's. I think the brand name is Big Dog.
I like the idea of the Gametamer. A lot of times, I find the perfect spot, but not so perfect tree. But they look like it will be heck to hang one. How hard are they to set it up?

Go with a Gametamer; best there is, and you can swivel quietly for that awkward shot...actually, there are NO awkward shots with the Gametamer!

So is Ben a dealer ? I need a stand for Kansas and was wondering where I could physically look at a gametamer, are there dealers in the Fort Worth area, I have looked at the website and could not find any, it looks like they are made right here in the area. I am headed to the ranch to plant wheat so if anyone has info pm me, thanks.

The gametamer is pretty awesome. I haven't hunted out of another tree stand but I have no complaints with the gametamer TS-30

Unless I have miss something, their office/warehouse is in Ft Worth. Thats where I bought mine from. They had a showroom set up and the works. Surely somebody on here can get you hooked up with Ben.
