it depends on where you travel and need signal... Both have good and bad areas. Really does not matter what others like, unless they are in the areas you are concerned with. Maybe post what your target areas are and you can get some usable info, otherwise it is just useless opinions

Both have their good and bad points. Just go with the one that you can get the better deal and do the best you can. Neither of them will work in all situations. I go Colorado in the summer months and I think that there are more places where neither of the work than where they do. It is something that I have learned to live with. Good luck.

I think AT&T is all I've ever had. Did the whole AT&T/Cingular/back to AT&T thing.

Verizon has better coverage in Colorado, but I'm staying with AT&T.

I had been with Verizon for more than 10 years before moving to Texas. We moved here and realized that Verizon service doesn't exist until we drive an hour in any direction. AT&T is the only game in central Texas. We recently switched to Cricket (AT&T service with no contract) for a significant savings.

I have both ... one is work phone and the other is my phone. Both seem pretty good for central Tx and when I'm on travel. Far better than Sprint.

Probably the most accurate and unbiased statement on this thread. For the record Verizon customer service is a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 so I will stick with AT&T.

Att for me. Work phone is Verizon. Anytime I get off the paved road at the ranch near columbus the Verizon does and the att is working just fine

I'm another that has both Verizon IPhone for work and ATT for the house . On a side by side status the IPhone get 3 bars showing for antenna and the galaxy has full antenna showing. I can and have been able to be reached anywhere I've been with att.

AT&T cell coverage is far better than Verizon across thr country hands down. I work in the oilfield all over thr US and have experienced first hand where I get cell service with AT&T and my coworkers who arr with Verizon dont get one bar.

If you stay in urban areas and near main interstates Verizon is probably your best bet as far as price vs. service. In my opinion ATT has the best coverage in central, south, and west texas off the beaten path which is important to me. SWB, then ATT had their headquarters in San Antonio while they were building their network and they made darn sure it worked in that area LOL. I have had ATT since truck mounted phones and bag/brick phones and have literally loaned my phones out hundreds of times to people with other carriers that couldn't get service where we were.

I've had Sprint for 18yrs and just recently switched to AT&T. So far so good. Great signal even in the hill country, no dropped calls and 4G almost everywhere we go.

My brother lives in Washington and is switching from Verizon to AT&T.

Iv had Verizon for 14 years and have been satisfied for the most part. As mentioned about Verizon coverage in central west Texas, it does suck. Went to frio two years ago and never had service. Saw a guy txting on his phone on the frio and asked what service he had and he said AT&T. My contract just expired with Verizon and when I'm ready for another phone I will be checking out AT&T.
