Are there any central Texas rivers that are in decent shape? The Colorado around Columbus is usually my default but it's still pretty high and I'm not sure how long it'll take to get back down. Haven't been out in about a month and I'm starting to get antsy lol

Lol I've tried a few lakes close by but it's just not the same. I think I enjoy being on the river as much as I enjoy fishing. Plus I ain't worth a lick at catching fish out of lakes

I usually just use a stringer but I see the appeal of them. I can get a stringer for 3 bucks though. I'm a cheapo

I quit using them. When i do take on water I can't get it out easily. If it's really cold I may use them.
