That's frightening. My wife and I fly to Europe to two weeks and she's getting nervous with this, ISiS and multiple strikes ( pilots and air traffic controllers- dang unions ).

Mass murder by the co-pilot. Pilot left cabin (probably to use restroom), co-pilot locked cockpit, disengaged autopilot, flew plane into ground. They can hear the pilot banging on the door to get back in for 8 minutes.

The article said the co-pilot manually locked the pilot out of the cockpit.

Statistically, it is orders of magnitudes safer to fly than it is to drive. In 2013, 90 people were killed on american roads PER DAY. Let that sink in for a moment.

Would they report it as terrorism if it actually was? Sure would hurt profits for commercial airlines................
