My boss just approached me about a position down there. Mixed bag as far as the job goes... good opportunity, terrible place to work. Can't make a real decision without data.

I moved from Austin to Leander, night and day difference in feel. I am still only a 20 minute commute to central Austin by toll. I paid 140k for my house a couple of years ago...1500 square feet, homes built in the late 90's, great school district and community feel. BTW the Police are awesome!

I actually grew up in Leander. There were only two elementary schools when I started, and still only one HS when I graduated. My dad did a couple of terms on the LISD school board. The whole place has blown up in the last 20 years!
