Open Carry?

Is everyone not entitled to their opinion And able to speak it? I believe this is the 1st ammendment since we are in a constitutional mood.

I have a chl. I carry said weapon 98% of the time. Criminals don't know I carry and don't see me as a threat. Bad oversight on their part. Open carry just draws undue attention onto yourself and riles up the natives. Why would you want to scare women and children? Don't give me that "liberal argument" either Mike D. Your actions cause equal reactions from unarmed citizens. I am pro gun. I sleep with mine. I am teaching my 4 year old gun safety and trigger squeeze already, but not everyone is like us. We are not a majority. We must respect the views of other citizens. Many do not bat an eye at concealed carry and even like to know that there are people out there who are packing heat. Gun violence is not liberal jargon, it is a statement of fact. Guns scare some people!!! I respect both views, but I doubt I will ever open carry. It protects me and my family from undue attention.

I am pretty much along these lines ^^^. Don't want to draw the attention to myself. Don't want to alienate the gun community.

The biggest negative I see to open carry is going to be there rash of threads asking what is the best open carry holster? What is the best open carry ammunition? What is the best open carry pistol for my wife/girlfriend? What is the best open carry holster for my wife/girlfriend? where do you put your extra clips when you open carry? Do you open carry with your silencer on your gun?

Dogs scare some people. Would you ever avoid taking your dog to a park because someone there might be scared of it?

My mom is terrified of people riding motor cycles. She is paranoid that they will crash near her. So much so she will turn off and go another way if there is one on a street with her. Should people not ride motorcycles?
