I own a BISON and have been impressed since the day I got one. They have cool graphic stickers for the lids and it has held up to anything I have done. I would buy again and wouldn't even consider a YETI (buy American) and support your local business seeing that I live in the city there company is located.

You'd think Texans would support that.

I've had both. The bison was better. Very lean meat but still juicy. Makes great burger, jerky, etc.
The yeti was tough and expensive. It's not a protected species in Nepal so I was able to get a yeti combo platter. Fried, grilled, smoked. It was all tough with a lot of gristle. I paid $325 for that meal.
I will always choose bison in the future.

I've had experience with both and choose Yeti. We bought my wife's uncle a Brute for Christmas 2 years ago, and he traded it out for a Yeti. It's not a bad cooler, I, and he didn't feel it compared to Yeti. We used them for sitting on his pier and his cooler lid warped from two people sitting on it. Yeti is a Texas company also, and I feel they make a better product, and better products are worth a few more $$$. What's an extra $50-60 when you're spending a few hundred. I know Brute/Bison is a sponsor, and if you choose to support them and are happy then that is great. But in my experience with both, the Yeti is better. Also, the Yeti Hopper is worth the money.
