I have 6 Yeti's ...a roadie, 2 35qts, 65qts, and 75qt and the Yeti Tub. I did have the 50qt Bison but gave it away to a friend. Both are high quality. Overall I think I would have to give the edge to Bison but it really is splitting hairs.

Yes, but the Filipino workers have smaller hands, better suited for quality cooler assembly. Unless Bison can prove they have children, or little people, assembling their coolers in Fort Worth, the advantage goes to Yeti!

I own Yeti coolers, but I think they are both close in quality.

I have a Yeti 65 and Hopper. I bought my dad a Bison 65. They are both great coolers.

If you order a Yeti go to Austin Kayak's website and they will give you 15% off if you give them your email address.

Save you a few bucks and get the Bison, and support a sponsor, and made in the good USofA. Enough said!

Thank God I never plan to strategically place my truck up on a cooler

One of our employees got into a bad accident and he had his tool box and Brute in the back of the truck.

Hit a stopped vehicle going about 60. Truck was totaled. Cooler and tool box landed approx. 90' from where accident occurred and stopped against a barbed wire fench. Cooler was still closed and contents were fine. Tool box not so much.

He still uses this cooler to this day. Cant get the picture of the truck to load, but it was bad.

Except in this case. Bison is cheaper and made in the USA.

Both are good coolers. You cant go wrong with either one.

                  I prefer Bison.

My Yeti went through a house fire and it was sitting on the front porch where the fire had started. It still works perfect, the lid didnt warp and it functions like the day i had bought it at Bucee's. The only down side was i emailed them the story and sent them the pictures, and never got a reply back. Their customer service from my stand point lacks in that area.

I've never owned a Bison, but I do have one 45 QT Yeti that stays in the back of my work truck. I didn't buy it so I could join the "Yeti Club" or anything. I was just tired of coolers only lasting six months with daily use. Been going on 4 years with that cooler, and never had to replace anything other than a Adrain plug I lost. I can't see ya going wrong with either. They're both gonna hold ice, for me it's about durability.

Dude I just installed a power inverter and roll around with a chest freezer bolted in the back of my truck. Works like a charm. Lol.

When 2 products are as close as these two are in my mind you have to get down and nit pick the little things.

There is only one of them posting in this thread. CS goes a long ways in my book.
