Graham will go crazy this year. Wilson can throw the ball, he just didn't have any receivers.

it's a QB driven league and ANY team is only as good as their signal caller

Brees is currently the 4th highest paid QB in the league. His 5yr/$100M contract was back-loaded for 2015/2016 and a major financial strain on the club ... hence the big time salary cap issues .

We are about to find out if Drew Bree's is still an elite QB. If he is he should be able to get it done with whoever they give him.

Wilson will finally have a superstar to throw too. He makes plays happen outside the pocket and Graham happens to be great at improvising when a play breaks down. It will be fun to watch!

Surely if Breesus loved the city of NO as much as we were all led to beleve 5 or 6 years ago, he would take a pay cut to help out his beloved Aints fans! What happened to all that post Katrina love??

When you have super highly paid qb’s you cant afford luxuries like Jimmy Graham with huge contracts also. He will stay in Seattle a few years until Wilson becomes the highest paid qb in the nfl then he will end up somewhere else. Oh and I have a good feeling Reggie Bush may end up a Saint again this year.
Wonder how the packers seem to keep on trucking then. With Rodgers being the highest paid qb all while have one of the most dynamic and explosive wide reciever core in the nfl.

GM said he would not ask Brees to take a cut or restructure. That was brought up. Did Romeo offer to take one for Murray?

He's re structured several times taking less guaranteed. That's not the point though. No one here has ever carried on about how much he loves this city and this franchise and he's OUR SAVIOR blah blah blah and all that other crap we were all inundated with out of NO for years before and after their super bowl.

Agreed, JG is a big target and with RW's mobility lookout !! I'm saying it now, Super Bowl contender again.

Heard on the radio today that Andre Johnson is going from Baltimore to talk with the Seahawks, can't imagine having Graham and Andre on the same squad. WOW

I am not so sure a player can just take a pay cut in order for the team to have more spending money, they can restructure the contract and create salary cap but sooner or later it catches up with the team, I could be wrong on this. Also how many big time free agents have gone to another team and actually set the world on fire, not too many that I can recall.
