Saints to become a ball control, run first pass second team with an aging QB and weak defense.....like some other team that maybe popular around here.....lol

Lots of moving parts in all of this! I was totally shocked. After his surgery his production had fallen noticeably but the thought was he would take the off season and get totally healed. Wilson will have the BIG target he needs .........and we get a center......lol. Brees has Stills and Big Ben at tight end still so the thought is a GREAT offensive line will make the difference. Going to be a long summer!

I'll be shocked to see them be a run first team next year. Now them be a 7-9 team with Drew's arm strength continuing to diminish passing all over the field absolutely. I hope they go 12-4 and Bree's throws for 5000 yards!

I love Drew Brees but his contract crippled the Saints

his 2015 salary counts $26.4M against the cap

When it rains it pours. Today has really sucked and the wife just informed me from someone's post on FB. I thought they were full of it. I call Bravo Sierra.

However, I choose to hit google. ***! Its true.

We may as well trade Drew Brees to Atlanta and give them our next 10 first round draf picks for their water boy. It would make about just as much sense as today.

Were there really no other centers out on the market?

Man, a swift kick in the nuts would have hurt less.

Graham is a very good receiver. He gets intimidated easily by tough defenses and refuses to block. He wilts when punched in the mouth. If Seattle needs a receiver they found one. If they expect him to be an all around tight end and do the dirty work forget it.

The Saints need trench guys on both sides the ball a lot more than a tight end right now. By the way... they picked up a very good center to block for the old, selfish QB you speak of.

Also how many big time free agents have gone to another team and actually set the world on fire, not too many that I can recall.

Peyton Manning prob answers both of those questions.

He took a $4 million dollar straight paycut this next year with no payment later. And he made the Broncos Super Bowl contenders.

But I do agree it is rare.

Yea. He's a better runner than Brees.

The one with the weakening arm because he's too small?

I will always believe in investing in the trenches first.

I think Tony would be the first in line to give up money to keep Murray, or any of his other key pieces, like I said I could be wrong but I think there is more to it than what meets the eye.

2009 Super Bowl team ran as much as they passed, defense was far better but a Qb needs weapons and ain't none on the roster right now that could change by Friday.....hence running the ball becomes the staple of a play action horizontal passing game

Saints making a lot of moves today. Just signed RB Cj Spiller, cut DB corey white and traded WR Kenny Stills to the Dolphins for LB Dannle Ellerbe and a 3rd rd pick.
