I think that's one of the UGLIEST deer I've ever seen. I think this whole breeding for horns thing has gotten COMPLETELY out of hand. I'm all for breeders going for big bucks, but these freakish looking bucks don't look anything like a deer. IMHO the obsession over antler scoring and the glorification of deer like that (by breeders and hunters alike) are two of the biggest driving forces that keep increasing the price of hunting.

I think it's a cool looking animal....."pet", breeder, high fence or free range.

Glad there are a coule of others that do not get to excited for breeder bucks. I am not hating on the people that use them, just would not like to introduce them to my ranch. I am all for a high fence to help control age and genetics, but just what the good lord has added to that land.

We used to kill deer like that for camp meat. These Sam Houston N.F. deer make him look like one of those Florida Keys deer!

I think it is awesome looking deer and would love for a deer like that to walk by my stand one day. I love nontypical deer.
