The trophy is in the eyes of the beholder. Sometimes other people's trophy's make other people jealous.
My 165" straight eleven is one of the prettiest bucks I've ever seen and he'll always be a trophy.
Why is it everyone these days has to bash everyone that does something different. I'll do what I do over here and you do what you do over there and we wont worry about each other.
Oh by the way I'm sure this deer was genetically mutated with spliced dna code and is probably given steroids..........NOT!

People that high fence or introduce genetics don't care about your opinion but instead do it for themselves to improve their own ranches.

Mason,
I'll look past the comment as pure ignorance/stupidity or pure jealousy whichever you fall into go ahead and label yourself as such. Like I said before. If you dont like it then do it how you want. I dont care. I hunt ethically. And no I dont sell hunts. I guess the vets that have hunted at our ranch and the kids that have killed their first deer were unethical as well.Get a clue.
Oh and I'd bet you've never seen the inside of a high fence. Typical.Last edited by mesquitecountry; 09-02-2008, 04:50 PM.

I won't change your opinion, but there just isn't one right and wrong way to hunt. It's not black and white. People on this site are at such different levels on the types of animals they hunt based on opportunity. Most of the time this opportunity costs a lot of money to ensure success and you can't blame people for further protecting their investment by any means they deem necessary.

That deer will NEVER be shot. He will get to sit back, relax and get something everyday we all wished we could get....ya know??
I hunt on low fence and high fence ranches, except I own the high fenced one. So you better go ahead and put me in that unethical group with MC.

Opinions are welcome...but you have to treat every person on TBH with Dignity and Respect...no matter what they hunt, how they hunt or what they hunt with.
That's what make this a Forum...being able to communicate with others who share a common interest.
My opinion is this:
If you don't like the threads on High Fence ranchers, hunters, animals, etc...then don't read the thread. If you choose to read the thread and comment or give your opinion, then you should treat everybody else's opinion, way of life and ethics with Dignity and Respect.
I have not hunted anything behind a high fence...but that's not to say I won't. You won't catch me calling out people that do or questioning their ethics...especially people that you don't personally know.
This forum has thousands of members...some have never seen a high fence, some have never killed a deer, much less with a bow. But we all share a passion for the outdoors and archery. That is the one common denominator.
Dignity and Respect is expected here...
My 2 cents.
