I hunted with sticknstring, and unfortunately our landowners died or we would still be there.

That is a bad deal . You get a good ranch and make all these long term plans but in the end you just never know how long you will be there. Fortunately for us I've known our new land owner for almost 15 years and he's got some hunters on another pasture next ours who have been there for over 40 years . I realize that doesn't really mean will be there that long but I do like my odds.

With a lease you never know what your gonna get from year to year, but I know I would love to get back out there someday.

It took about 3-4 months to get them to start eating the cotton seed, but when they started they really liked it....

Mexico70 we did add corn to it but the birds would get it...We got our cotton seed from Cape and Sons out5 of Abilene...they got it out of a Abilene gin....they have cotton seed contracted all over the state and it cost us $330 per ton delivered....

Sutton County is full of Meth Heads, vandals, thiefs, illegals, and questionable people. Thank goodness you found me! I have experience dealing with all of them in that area and would do you a service and take over your lease to save you the hassle.

We use to hunt on the Balch ranch! My old man killed a nice 11 point there. 350 yard shot in an extremely wind day. First shot he whiffed, second dropped him lol.

We also hunted off of Baker road for 8 years. The old Alley ranch. Some of my fondest memories are from that place.
