Obamacare Rant!!!!

Well not proud to say it but had to get on Obamacare in Feb. since by law you have to have Ins. Problem is there is not 1 Doctor in Grayson County that will take the Ins. I have. Called the Ins. today and explained it to them and they said yes you have 6 Doctors in your county that will take it, I said No I called everyone of them and they said they do not and do not know why the Ins. has them on the list. So I will be dropping the Ins. and just pay the penalty next year come tax time, Guys, what is our country coming to, this is very sad.

Yup its a disgusting issue over here too. My existing Blue Cross plan went from $510 a month to $850. Same 5k deductible per person. Its the wife, son and me. Non of us have history issues and I have never met the deductible in years past.

Sure if you like your plan you can keep it..just pay more.

I dont see know Obama Care will last, how in the heck does a working family expect to pay this? I'm fortunate enough I can, but man that's like a 100 ac or a second home payment, or even a decent retirement plan payment.

We don't take it unless one slips through tge cracks. The exchange plans are reimbursing doctors at less than Medicaid rates unless it's the very top tier. I can't cover expenses with that. I do think that if this crap continues then the government will somehow force doctors to take it. One more step closer to socialized medicine. I know it sucks for patients but physicians have to make enough to cover expenses and make a living. Right now the exchanges won't cover that and very few private practice docs will take it.

Even if Ocare was to be repealed, do you really think the insurance companies will drop their prices back down to pre Ocare rates? I really doubt it.

Imo this crap WILL continue. The Republicans will not repeal Obamacare, only change some of it, if that. Let's face it, politicians are not looking out for us !

You don't HAVE to go through the Exchange. You can go directly to the insurance company. That's what I did with BCBS. That's who my plan has been with for YEARS (and I was happy with it). Sadly like many others, it was canceled due to Obamacare. My "new" plan with them is pretty much the same as what I had before, except that now it costs $150 MORE per month, and my deductible went from $1500 to $6000. But, I am covered if I ever get pregnant or need breast augmentation surgery... The way I see it, MY extra $150 that I'm now paying each month is going directly to someone else so THEY don't have to pay that $150. Chaps my hide...
