Just hide one in a pair of the wifes shoes. In the event a burglar comes in he aint gonna dig through all 243 pair and only you know what shoe, she dont wear that pair anyway

Here is an end table I made years ago that has a hidden drawer in the back of it. It's held closed with magnetic latches and is spring loaded opening. It really wasn't very difficult to do.

I saw a video a while back on facebook of a cabinet drawer that when opened normally, was a regular drawer. But if you turned the pull knob 180 degrees, when you opened the drawer, it was a pistol drawer. Kind of like a false bottom magic trick. I would think you could get enough spring tension on one of those to prevent a small child from turning it.

We have a nightstand that has a "hidden" pull out drawer built in. Wife uses it for jewelry. You would never know it pulled out unless someone showed you. Will check the brand when I get home this evening. Loaded 9mm stays in the top drawer, but would easily fit in the hidden drawer.

We bought a chest of drawers from CBS in Cleveland, it has a large hidden gun cabinet that locks.
