Anyone have any furniture, particularly a nightstand, with a hidden compartment for a pistol? Looking at building a bedroom set for my wife and I and thought I should incorporate something like this.

You may take a look at some of these from this company. Even if you don't want to purchase any of there stuff, it may help to give you some ideas.

https://www.willa-hide.com/ I know the guy who builds these cabinets. He use to build residential cabinets but is now only making these mirror in the wall cabinets. I think it a really cool idea but for $800 its not for me, especially when I could build it for way less.

Been researching and tossing the idea of building somethings like this for myself. I like the idea of a mirror hiding the AR. Can't decide whether to build a night stand or a bed headboard to hide pistols. Headboard would be easier to build one item that can hide one on my side and wife's side, but can't decide on the best approach for locking with quick access and making sure it's a well hidden space in plain view

Do you have any children in the house? That in my opinion is the big question. If no, then something like this, they're showing a small table but a night stand or dresser would work. They sell a magnetic holster, you can use whatever. I know there are guys who say their kids are or should be or will be responsible around firearms, but it's your house, family and choice.
What I like is when you retrieve the weapon, you're low and on the ground in a position the intruder is not looking for somebody standing up.
