You haven't answered a single thing I've addressed from your posts. You haven't addressed the lies I called out. You are now posting drunk and misspelling a quarter of your words. I have no idea what phone calls you are referencing. To call me stupid, is absurd. Good job, brave infidel.

One misspelled word is a qtr? Sure youre not for cali, or austin? Tired, yes, so lets try this again.

If you think for one second that they will stop at the threshold of initial control/regulation, esp with the actions of this particular committee and chair head, having done a complete 180 on stance from last year, im not sure what you believe. Has it been spelled out what their plans are, exactly? No one knows because they are either not written yet, or still in the process of being edited and awaiting final approval from someone other than this committee.

If you listen two the two republicans in the vote, the internet is about to come to a crashing halt, and the dems are touting toll lanes are dismantled, sticking a flag in the ground for victory. The truth is, court rulings stopped any pay for play already, and the fcc is about to grow exponentially to take care of any regulatory rules when they are written. It had to pass to see whats in it. Sound familiar?

          Apologis for the name calling.

And look to the patriot act for your phone issues, then tell me how fcc wont expand since it doesnt have to pass laws through congress and the whitehouse controlling it.

Supposedly, at some point we will be paying more for slower speeds.

                          Why? He is right.

Answer this please. What government agency that after it was created did not expand it's scope and do more than what it was originally intended to do?

Going along with your example, let's say that the government took over the roads. Now everyone is limited to 35 mph regardless of what car you are driving. Because of this, the manufactures no longer put any money into making the cars good quality and able to go fast, because it is pointless and a waste of their money. On top of that, the government now turns all the roads into toll roads, costing the user more money in the long run. So now everything is MUCH slower compared to what it was, and it costs more.

So which one is better in the above situation? The free market or complete government control?
You make good points and those are things that we need to make sure never happen but what I posted HAS happened. You said after Ford lapses on quality, Chevy catches up. That would happen if they were playing on a level playing field but that is not the case. In my example, Ford pays big bucks to the ISPs and goes 90 MPH while Chevy plods along at 50. Ford no longer has the incentive to pour tons of money into improving their product to attract new customers because they already have most of the customers and are not in any danger of losing them. How can Chevy improve if they no longer have income? Besides, would it really matter how much they improve if they stay slower than Ford with no hope of ever speeding up unless they outbid Ford on what they are willing to pay the ISPs?

What you are speculating on has not happened and, from what I understand, the net neutrality regs do not have anything to do with what you're talking about. That said, I agree 100% we need to keep government out of controlling the net. Maybe I am missing something, but I am OK with the government telling all the players everyone has to play by the same rules and no one can pay for a better set of rules for themselves.

EPA Created by Nixon in 1970 by executive order. I'm sure it was a positve thing in the beginning. I agree we dont need black smoke and chemicals pouring into our atmosphere.
What has it turned in to? With the our EPA permit at work we now have to log every time we open a new pack of welding rods, a can of WD 40 in the shop, or even a can of fart spray for the bathroom because it is an aresol.....but thats not over reach!!!

USDA school lunch program, when I was in school we had things like brisket, real turkey and dressing, salad and sandwich bar options if we didn't like the main course.
Now, my kids are only allowed 2 portion packs of ketchup to cover up the nasty taste of the processed waffle chicken crap the schools serve now due to Michelle Obama. #thanksmichelleobama. Our school has to serve only USDA approved (institutional) food. There is no choice to upgrade what they serve... but thats not over reach!

Patriot act- was put in to place to spy on terrorist wich is a good thing.
Thanks to Eric snowden we found out that we are all being spyed on.....but the patriot act was never intended for that.

TSA created to prevent terrorist from boarding planes and that is a good thing, however now due to political correctness grandma aslo gets shook down while trying to board the plane.

Obamacare, more people are now uninsured and the people who are insured now pay a higher premium with less coverage, we needed to makes sure everyone has insurance. If you like your insurance you can keep your insurance. My insurance personaly went up from around $270/paycheck to around $370/pay check.

What was another common phrase that pelosi used? We have to pass the bill to see whats in the bill, much like we are hearing about Net neatrality.

I am sorry SmelltheGlove but the Government does not have the best track record of being honest. It is obvious what will become of Net Neutralitly in the future.

The problem here is that the practice ended from a lawsuit, where it was supposed to have been managed. It was a free marketplace with little to no restrictions, whereas a hiway is regulated heavily by state laws.
