Thanks bud! The Bison SoftPak 12 ($99) has a leakproof body. The zipper isn't leakproof but it's a day cooler that holds ice for 24 hours in 120 degree heat. There shouldn't be much if any water in the cooler when you take it out for a day anyways. https://www.bisoncoolers.com/shop/brute-softpak/

The Bison SoftPak 24 has twice the capacity, will be available in the next few weeks and is $149. Both models are $200 cheaper than Yeti's comparable size.

Regarding price increases, it's disappointing but we've significant cost increases and have increased our retail prices along with the rest of the industry. On average, we're at least $80 cheaper when comparing like sizes. Thanks!

No question on the price increases, we have em every year for our customers as our prices go up. Still a loyal customer (2-25s, 2 softpaks and a 100qt) and will be getting a 50 soon to add to the boxes I have.

I'll be stopping by the shop whenever that 24 is released, to get a couple.

I put the cooler in the freezer with the ice at 9am. I took it out and used it on an 80 degree day at 12 noon. It was 2/3 full of ice with roughly 14 beers in it.

I left it outside that night and at 8am the next morning it was mostly very cold water, with a few tiny pieces of ice left. It was 63 overnight

It's not intended to be a multi-day cooler. It's intended for a day at the lake, in the stand, etc. but not necessarily an entire weekend. I assure you that the water in the cooler the next day is 35 degrees and will chill a beer quicker than just about anything

Amen to that. Have yall done any tests in relation to the soft packs and how they compare to YETI's soft coolers?

Performance has been pretty dang similar except you can use that $200 in savings to buy some cold brews We also have larger zipper openings which allow you to access the contents easier. This is the biggest complaint we've heard about the Yeti.

I will agree to that. The Yeti sucks to get in and out of. The bison bag opens up like crazy. I have the bigger bison bag and used it to take things to my son's school party. Put 3 tubs of blue bell ice cream, 2 cans of whipping cream, 2 ice cream scoops, a pack of cookies, and a small freeze pack. AND I was still able to zip is up easily. Just try and do get that in your Yeti with its short zipper....

The new Blue SoftPak 12-can model seems ideal for those short outings when you don’t want to tote around a hard cooler.

This looks like a great little cooler for everyday use when you are out and about on the ranch/lease.

I could definitely see one of these softpaks coming in handy on those early season hunts when an ice cold beverage is a luxury.

I just ordered a 12 can and a 24 can last Tuesday and there was only the $15 off TBH promotion that I could find. They work very well and appear to be built to last.....Oh and I placed my order at around 2pm and got them the following day by 5:30pm. I am very happy with the purchase!
