I have been told that 800 acres was 1000.

And 300 acres was 600 TWICE!

One of those 600 acres guys said I thought it was 600. Yeah right. The guy grew hay for a living. Bought fertilizer and paid taxes on the place.

Change the map view to satellite view and pin your perimeter....pretty accurate reading on my place

I had a guy that tried that with a 10 person group I was brought into years ago. He didn't own the land but he dealt with the landowner directly. He told us the land was 1100 acres and it actually was a little under 700. When I saw the place and got on the lease I accepted what he had said as truth. Once I was actually able to see the land as a whole and where all the property lines were. I knew he was lieing. I grew up on 430 acres and I could easily see that there was a huge problem. I found out that he had only done it to add more people to pay for his and his sons hunting plus profit some. The land owner was furious when he found out. I admit I blew the whistle on the deal but I respected the landowners rules and not the guy trying to lie to everyone. He got kicked off the lease that day and was told to collect his stands and feeders immediately. I honestly didn't think the land owner would react that bad. Oh well!!! The guy shouldn't have tried to be that shady.
