Yep. Been using it for 5 years. I can sleep without it but sleep much better with it. Took me about a week to get used to the mask but stopping breathing for 60-90 seconds 3-6 times a night. That's not good on the heart! Blood pressure is back to normal and I don't feel tired all day anymore. I highly recommend it.

First, you need to find you a sleep doctor where he will prescribe you to have a sleep study. After the sleep study you will be advised on whether you need a C-Pap machine or something else. The sleep doctor will prescribe a machine to you and you can go to a sleep medical device company that sells the machine. Mine was covered by insurance. I have used a company called Apria and now I'm using a company called Monitor Medical. The machine must be adjusted to you and the extent of Apnea you have. You cannot just go get a machine as it must be adjusted to you and your advanced stage of apnea.
Go on the web and read about sleep apnea and what is does to you over the years, many folks have died due to complications of sleep apnea.

It's about $100.00 and it basically suctions your tongue out of your mouth so you don't snore. BWAHAHAHHAHA!!! But... he said he wore it the first night and about 2am ripped it out and chunked it across the room. Oh man... I have tears, so funny.

Affirmative!!
I'm ten years into one.
There's lots of science behind these machines. Too much is just as bad or worse than not enough.
There was another thread on here not to long ago that has lots of info.
Let me look to see if I can find it.
