Zicam cold remedy?

Yes, it is good at 2 things. 1) Making the cold less severe and shorter and 2) Emptying your wallet fast.

Those thigns are pricy... but we found the generic version and use them and seem to work just as well.

I've had great results with combination of Zicam dissolvable tablets and nasal spray.
You have to start using at first hints of a cold and keep using it until symptoms go away.

Zicam first came out with the swabs that you swabbed your nose with. When I used these, my cold symptoms totally vanished in a couple of days. Then they took them off the market. I really think it was because the medical community realized how effective they were, and how much cash they were losing out on when people took these vs going to the doctor. The Zicam products that replaced these work somewhat, but aren't nearly as effective as the swabs were.

on a side note...I started getting flu symptoms and started taking tamiflu within a day...i felt much better the next day. still tired and lack energy, but feel much better...so, not sure if it works or was a placebo effect, nonetheless, i feel better

I use zicam in conjunction with emergen-c at the first signs of a cold/congestion. I believe it works well. I use to buy the generic stuff but feeling good and being 100% for work is priceless so I go name brand for OTC meds.
