    Knife Sharpener ?

I have 6 or 8 hunting knives I use and currently use a 2 stone system to sharpen them. If I spend 15/20 minutes or so on each one I can get them pretty dern sharp.
Bottom line: I'm looking for an easier way !!!!

Roll the window down in your vehicle, use the top of glass... 5-8 swipes per side, blade will be razor sharp.

Academy has an electric knife sharpener, gets your knives razor sharp too. It's an EdgeCraft Diamond Hone Sharpener 42. About seventy bucks

I keep one in the kitchen and before that I used it in my knife shop. The best thing on the market in my books is the Ken Onion Work Sharp, it's a 10" belt grinder. About one hundred and twenty bucks...

I got a Spyderco Sharpmaker for Christmas and I can have most of my knives shaving sharp in about half of that time.

If I'm just maintaining an already sharp edge, it's about 20 swipes or 2-3 mins on the fine sharpeners and I'm done.

Get a steel rod and a ceramic rod. Easy to use, fast, portable and they work

This is all you need. Just practice on an old kitchen knife until you get the feel down so you don't grind off the tip of your good knives. The nice thing about the Ken Onion edition is that you can vary the speed of the belt. I keep mine at a pretty low speed most of the time.
My knives have never been more sharp.

I like the Chefs' Choice. Has three stage diamond wheels. Very easy & quick.

This is what I got for Christmas, and I like it so far. Very simple, and does both sides at the same time.

I use a fine diamond stone now then run it on the 12000 grit belt on my work sharp. Works awesome.

It works great for me and I can get a razors edge super fast. I have never used the others though.

Work Sharp is the way to go!!! I had wanted one for several years when I finally got one around Thanksgiving it was one of those "I should of gotten this years ago" moments. You will end up sharpening every knife in the house. I took some cheap kitchen knifes that were so rounded over I was about to just throw then away and buy new ones. After a few minutes on the work sharp they are scary shaving sharp.
