Understood...but nobody here is addressing the elephant in the room. That cat was not hit by that shot. A trained killer does not miss point blank. You can clearly see the projectile hits exactly where the gunman was aiming...at the side walk.

Why is there no real recoil on the weapon like a 7.62x39, where is the impact tremor from the victim??

one thing is for certain. they are blurring the cop on cable news. i even heard one commentator question the suits about why they were blurring this man out.

Close range + 7.62x39= bullet going through the head then hitting the side walk behind the head.

Barrel angle to the POI along with no mist or pooling says no head shot, and over the target. The video on that guy was several seconds long after the shot and i saw nothing.

I didnt see training in their movements to and from the car. They jogged individually and not as a cohesive team, no Situational awareness displayed, just out, bang and back to the car.

Looks to me like the terrorist missed and the officer played possum. Hell unarmed I would have done the same! In the heat of the moment, it is highly likely he just flat out missed! That caliber should have turned his head inside out at that range.

That's what I was thinking. They were probably so confident in his shot he probably wasn't looking at him and just walked off. And I would definately play possum in that instance.

Crappy hand to be dealt but better than getting shot hiding under your desk. The benefit of an armed population is being able to shoot terrorists instead of just filming them.

Fake vid or fake occurrence or whatever. If you carry you need to know now if you can and cannot act accordingly should you ever need to. If not then you should leave your gun at home because it is only a weapon you will be killed with. I know I would rather have on my headstone "He died because he had a smaller gun with less ammo and less training." than "He never fired a shot and died cowering in the corner.".
