Hunter Shot on closing day

Yep...... A young man I went to school with was killed here in Brazoria county, just west of Angleton,in the early 80's. Same scenario.
I guy with a shotgun and 00 buck shot fired in the direction of some sound(sound shot he called it)late one evening. Several pellets entered the kids thigh severing his femoral artery. He bled out within minutes. In the back of a pickup on the way to the hospital which was 8-10 minutes away..

A good set of binoculars are your friend. Never use a set of "auto focus". And never ever use your scope in place of your binoculars.

There is nothing wrong with auto focus binos, been using them for years..
