Sounds like an epic hunt. Did anyone hear where the lion was killed?

I heard it was killed south of the I-10. If I had to guess I would say between Ozona and Stockton

Mt Lion was killed in Val Verde co. Well that's what the kid that shot it told me anyways

We ended up not getting any cats to commit but did shoot 32 fox. It was fun to say the least

We would have been better off with a mag light. Had fox under the truck all night but didn't see a single cat. Made 30 minute stands all night. It was dang sure chilly around 4 am!

Not participating, but just found out and confirmed today Lion spotted in ranch that borders the development I'm selling in Glen Rose. This area is only minutes from the square....smart felines and stealthy! They are many times closer than we think.

Congratulations to all of the winning teams in the January 2015 WTBBC, and thank you to all who entered and gave it their best shot. We never thought we’d surpass 200 teams. We were wrong. We said we’d never reach 300 teams. Again, we were wrong. Our total team count was 316 teams, once again crushing the old record of 278 teams. We weighed 20 qualified bobcats, and paid out $62,750 in prize money. We still can’t believe how big this thing has gotten!

WTBBC would like to thank all those who entered for supporting the contest. It wouldn’t continue growing as it has without your help in spreading the word. Keep encouraging your buddies to take a chance and enter.

Also, please show our sponsors your appreciation of their support by visiting their websites or establishments, and patronizing them when they can be of service to you.
We look forward to seeing you all again for the February 21st contest.

                              Here are the results:
