We have 3800 acres of our own plus access to probably 8-9k more if needed all within 20 miles of San Angelo but not sure which contest or contests I'll be off work for yet. I know we have the 30lb plus cats but getting them out for a shot is a whole other thing and 5 fox around here will probably take less than an hr haha

been hunting it since it started! This first hunt this year will prolly take a 30+ lb cat to win it... We will be in Archer and Callahan cty, 2 years ago we hunted it and killed 4 dogs and never would have thought that would put us in the money for most coyotes, needless to say we didnt go to weigh-in and missed out on about $3800 haha, 2 coyotes won it... I guess the high winds had a toll on everyone out west

Boh347 and I got this!! Haha we are usually asleep by 3am. We did get plenty of fox and had a bobcat lick my neck before I pooped myself and it pooped itself the first 15 min of the hunt in broad daylight !! We were so close!

Cool deal! We're hunting two different ranches that are 3k acres around mertzon and one smaller place in Tennyson that's 600 acres but its sounding promising. Land owner called and said they had 50 head of lambs get killed this past month alone.

Look forward to this tournament every year!! last year hunting in 70 degrees, 20 degrees, sleet, wind, snow, ice, hail, rain and sleep deprived made for an interesting hunt to say the least.
