Nice tagged red I caught today, the fly is my design.

Kinda weird day today. Redfish were acting like they were asleep. Must have bumped 10 or so. I have seen that a few times. I mean the boat would be within a few feet of them and they would wake off.

This one was awake, run about 70' or 80' of drag.

Had a question to all of you about how do you match the hatch?

I'm in the hill country and was wondering what flies work best for the area?

Match the hatch is more of a trout style of fishing.

Bass and perch in the hill country will hit a ton of flies. Top water, streamers and clouser patters will work.
