Landowner lied

I have been hunting in tx all my life and I have come to learn leasees always get screwed. I leased a small 150 acre property in October with a friend of mine, and I thought I asked all the appropriate questions. One of my questions to the landowner (in front of my friend) was, could we hunt this property all the way through this year until august of 2015. The response I received was that I was leasing a deer season property through the end of the antlerless/spike season. The landowner even said there was a 2 week doe season we had access to at the end of the general season (jan 18th). The landowner has just informed me that we are to be off his property on jan 4th which is obviously upsetting. Thoughts? Early 2015 bownaza???!! Jk....

Paper. I am in ohio right now w/o access to the lease agreement. But I do not remember specifics written down one way or the other

Yep not skepticism but that sounds like the case. Maybe something your not aware if. Maybe he needs to be reminded of your previous conversation and the extra doe and spike season.

I think it was my bad leasing from this individual...he was a nice guy but he was in need of money. He is selling off 60 of 150 acres and this came up in the recent conversation. I donno if he is quick to sell part of the land or what but we have not ****** him off

I did. He said he told us he had to discuss it with his wife. That is definitely not what was said.
