I've had the Viper with Smart Start program since 2008 in my 2003 Expedition. Zero issues and works great! Costs at least half what the dealership wanted to activate the one that came with vehicles.

With a 2015 Explorer my Ford dealer and salesman would hook me up with a fair mkt price for an OEM setup or they'd never get a dime of my business ever again. Give'em a call and chance to do you right.

doing a quick google search, this is a popular add on.
Ford lists all the parts on their accessory website and the kits are also listed on Ebay...
