So you're going put the dummy cat back on for resale purposes and not disclose that the emissions have be removed to the new buyer???
The integrity police will be along shortly!

I'll disclose without hesitation, most guys prefer the dummy cat already in place with the delete.

        1. diesels DO get inspected
        2. I have never had anyone look for anything other than muffler
        3. If you keep the pieces it will be nowhere even close to 6k to return to stock

OP I have actually been pulled over several times since my delete and all but once was state troopers and none even questioned it.

That's kida what I figured with most LEO. I assume they have more important things to do than check for emissions filters. Plus, if they have pulled you over, its probably for something else they can ticket you for, and not specifically to check your exhaust piping.

My main concern would be inspection time. I could just run the deletes until inspection time and then bolt the factory stuff back in. Ive done similar on my truck before when I swapped the factory muffler on to quet it down while going to and from the stand during deer season, and put the Magnaflow back on during the off-season. But, that DPF is a big mutha.

I don't know if Im getting a diesel or not. Ive been looking really hard at those 6.4 hemis too. It would be fun to have 800ft/lbs on tap, but 429 isn't much to sneeze at either. I remember when diesels were doing good to get 400lb/ft and people thought they were beasts. Im the kind of guy that doesn't need a diesel at this point in my life, but it might be fun to own one. I guess that's part of the reasons they are so expensive, demand for them by people that don't need em.
