Isiah 1:16-20 "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. "Come now and let us reason together, " Says the LORD, " Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

Thankfully Luke and Paul wrote it down for us and summed it up.
Luke ch. 10.
"......And He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?" 27And he answered, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." 28And He said to him, "You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE."…"
Galatians ch. 2
20"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21"I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."Last edited by TimH; 01-02-2015, 11:47 AM.

Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people zealous of good works.

1 Peter 3:10-12 "He who would love life and see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil."

John 9:31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.
What is sin?
1 John 3:4 KJV Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1 John 3:4 NIV Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
1 John 3:4 NLT Those who sin are opposed to the law of God, for all sin opposes the law of God.
1 John 3:4 CJB Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah - indeed, sin is violation of Torah.
Additional witnesses for the above verse:
Proverbs 28:9 KJV He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Proverbs 28:9 CJB If a person will not listen to Torah, even his prayer is an abomination.
Third witness:
Proverbs 15:29 KJV The LORD is far from the wicked[break His law]: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous[obey His law].
Proverbs 15:29 NLV The Lord is far from the sinful[break His law], but He hears the prayer of those who are right with Him[obey His law].
Fourth witness:
1 John 3:22 KJV And whatsoever we ask[prayer], we receive of him, because we keep his commandments[Laws/Torah], and do those things that are pleasing in his sight[obedience to His Law].
The above verses all come from our fifth witness which is actually the first witness concerning our relationship status with Yahweh.
Isaiah 59:2 KJV But your iniquities[sin/disobedience] have separated between you and your God, and your sins[law breaking] have hid his face from you, that he will not hear[your cries/prayers].
1 Peter 3:12 KJV .......... but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Those who do evil are those who practice sin, sin is lawlessness or Torahlessness. To those Yahweh does not hear, for their cries are vanity. For they honor Him with their lips but their hearts are far from Him.
Deuteronomy 7:9-11 NLV Know then that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God. He keeps His promise and shows His lovingkindness[Grace] to those who love Him and keep His Laws, even to a thousand family groups in the future. (10) But He destroys those who hate Him. He will not show kindness to the one who hates Him, but will punish him to his face. (11) So keep and obey all the Laws I am telling you today.
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV "Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. (22) Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' (23) And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!'
According to scripture those who do the "will" of the Father will enter the Kingdom. According to scripture those who do the "will" of the Father He will hear their prayers. So what is His "will"? What is so critical that we must know and do for our prayers to be heard and to enter into His Kingdom? What is it that He desires us to do? His "will" is mentioned through out scripture. Say to this people, Hearing you hear, but you do not understand and seeing you see but do not know. Make the the heart of this people fat and make their ears heavy and shut their eyes that they will neither see with their eyes or hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and repent and be healed!
Psalms 40:8 NKJV I delight to do YOUR WILL, O my God,
And YOUR LAW is within my heart."

1 John 1:5-10 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Ephesians 4:17-24 This I say, therefore, and testify in the LORD, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man, which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
