A local football team in my community, Edna H.S., lost one of its players and and all but 1 of his siblings to a house fire a couple of weeks ago. Trey Ganem, a local jack of all trades, made custom caskets for the family that were out of this world. And to top it off, last week Edna H.S. played Tom Moore H.S. in a playoff game and won. But that's not the end of it. Tom Moore H.S. and the town of Ingram presented the family of this young man who lost his life a check for around $16000, yes that's 3 zeros. Then, last night in Rosenberg, Edna played Halletsville H.S. and won and Halletsville presented the family a check for over $19000. I know no amount of money will bring this Edna Cowboy back, but the communities of Ingram and Halletsville, as well as Trey Ganem should be commended for their huge generocity. Makes me proud to be a Texan when so many others look at us as backwoods and behind the times because of our beliefs. So if your from these areas, the entire community of Jackson County thanks you.

Thats pure Texan awesomeness right there. I use to fish redfish and trout tournaments that Trey participated as well. He was known as the spotted ape. He had a custom painted SCB with a big ape on its sides. Pretty sure he was the first or one of the first that broke the 90mph mark on a bay fishing boat.
I hear his casket business is amazing. Glad he's still doing well and happy to hear of his generosity.
