Thanks everyone!! I should have added this earlier in the original post. But our day is settled down now so I'll post.

I was in a tripod this morning when I heard the shot. I text my cousin asking if they shot. He replied back saying he just cost me minimum $500. I wrote back asking what he shot. He said your gonna want to be here for the recovery. He also told me, He just couldn't tell him no on taking this deer. He said my kid shot him at 40 yards while they were leaned up against a fallen tree. The deer took off like he wasn't even shot. At the 50 yard mark he started going head over heels and he was down. He was hit low shoulder on the right side and blew 1/4 of the heart away and exited about 4" behind the left shoulder. He was shot with my RRA Coyote 556 using a 62gr hollow point.

I was picked up on my way to them and all the pics, high fives, and congrats took place.
