My cousin asked my boy and I to come out and hunt with him on his place. My cousin was the guide and my boy was the hunter. This guy came out and stopped at 40 yards. After the shot, he went 60 yards and pilled up.

Wow stud!! Congrats buddy.... Question my dad would never let me shoot a deer that big when I was younger heck it wasn't until I was 20 he offered to take me to kill a trophy on his dime.... He always said I needed to earn my stripes I have a 3 yr old that I look forward to gettin to hunt like you an yours. Is there a magic number to giving them a green light (on a giant) or just when the feeling comes along? (This isnt directed just at OP but also any other guys with kids can chime in)
